You can set a custom ringtone and vibration on your Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for all or some of your contacts and make the ringtone out of any song file that you have.  If you want to trim the mp3 so that the ringer is exactly to your liking, you should get an app called MP3 Cutter.  When you add any ringtone, there isn't a built-in way to remove it off the list.  But there is an app for that.

The last thing I cover is how to set the music you have purchased in Google music as a ringtone.  If you want to trim it, you will need something like ES File Explorer (Solid Explorer will work too).  Change the .mpga file extension to .mp3 and it can be cut using MP3 Cutter just like it was covered earlier in the video.
