<div id="tdncontent"><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53tiIZxpuuI" target="_blank"><img onload="tdnembed()" onmouseout="tdnout(this)" onmouseover="tdnover(this)" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9iQ2HzAiXpo/UzLnetYReKI/AAAAAAAAAyQ/fTrsOKedu9M/s685/288.jpg" style="width: 100%;" /><br /><br /> </a></div> I have a love and hate relationship with the LED Notification Light on the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.  It's great during the day, but at night, it can get unbearable to deal with.  In the end, I decided to dump the LED Notification Light 9 months after the ownership of the Note 2.  But as it turns out, there was a setting all along that would have made the LED Notification Light fully usable without any annoyances.  It is done through Blocking Mode.  You can basically tell the LED Notification Light to stop blinking at certain hours of the day.  You can set the same for phone calls, notifications and even alarms.  And you can further fine tune how it behaves by setting which users should be ignored for blocking.  One thing that I wish could use an update is that the icon on top should not appear when blocking mode is enabled.  If they changed that, it would truly be perfect.<br /> <br /> This video should be fully applicable for Note 3 users as well.

For me personally, Popup Nnote was and is still my favorite and most useful feature of the Galaxy Note 2. I had been carrying small notepads and small pens in my pockets just for the purpose of taking small notes for myself many times a day. Anyway, the Note 3's Action Memo has gained some really powerful and useful abilities such as quickly being able to edit an existing note. On the Note 3, you can edit notes as well, but it was just too slow to edit an existing note when you wanted to jot a few words down. On the Note 3, it is much faster, which makes it a big deal. It also has a much improved eraser. But what is completely new is that you can take the memo that you've written in the past, and do something with it such as adding it to contacts, calling, or texting the person. Because a lot of the times, you are just jotting someone's name and phone number down. Or you may write down the name of a business or a meeting location, so why not have it do a Google search or look it up on a map? If it is an idea, why note make it a task with a due date. There is something really powerful and exciting about Action Memo. It just makes sense without any fluff.

Galaxy Note 3 Tips & Tricks Ep. 1: Touchscreen Improvements Vs. Note 2

Galaxy Note 2 Tips & Tricks Episode 86: Fix Lag & Unresponsive Touch Problem

<div id="tdncontent"><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-S1uzxNVQo" target="_blank"><img onload="tdnembed()" onmouseout="tdnout(this)" onmouseover="tdnover(this)" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-xRy4GRDW6bs/UzLndkKZLoI/AAAAAAAAAyE/meZUyEi6Ig0/s685/286.jpg" style="width: 100%;" /><br /><br /> </a></div> After you use your Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for a while, you will eventually run into this problem where it becomes unbareably laggy to respond to your touches.  It is most noticable in the UI, but luckily the problem is simple to fix.  The problem is that you have run out of space on your internal storage.  So just connect your Galaxy Note II to your computer and delete files to have at least 2GB of free space.  Few recommendations, delete pictures and video from your DCIM folder.  Move your downloaded files and other media such as music to your external SD.  Then last, if you can, delete games you are no longer playing.  After doing this, you should immediately notice that the lag has disappeared.
