The fingerprint sensor had gotten a bad rap before the Note 8 was even released. To my surprise the fingerprint sensor instant revealed itself to be great on the Galaxy Note 8. In some ways, it makes more sense to be where it is at now than the traditional location which is where the home button is. But only for right-handed people. As the saying goes, don't knock until you've tried it.
